The 2016 Eastern T20 tournament will be held this year on July 22, 23 and 24 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with teams from the Atlantic Provinces, plus Quebec taking part. Cricket Canada is providing some financial support to each province to assist in covering expenses. Cricket Canada selectors will be present during the tournament to scout around talent for Canadian national teams.
We will have to start our coaching/practice sessions soon to bring the cup to NL this year. We encourage all our members to consider trying out for the provincial team. We will be establishing a selection committee in accordance with the selection policy (under review by the board).
