Saturday, Aug 21, saw NSK take on Royal Challengers for the morning match. NSK got off to a rocky start and losing wickets at regular intervals before Arif steadied the ship with his 52* from 38 balls. NSK put up a target of 142 at the end of the 20 overs. Vandit’s bowling figures were 4/29/3. In reply, RC top order was dismissed cheaply with none getting into double figures. Vipul put up a brave fight (47*) but without support it was a losing battle. Karamjeet bowled excellently to get 4/25/5 adding him the honor’s board.

The 2 nd match was between Wolves and Stars. It was a low scoring game with Wolves setting a target of 111/7 with Daksh being the highest scorer with 34 runs. Irtiza and Mohiminul taking 2 wickets each. In reply, Taran gave Stars a good start scoring 42 till he was bowled out by Aryan. With match getting close Tonse 13* took Stars for another win for them in the season. Kathan Shah was the stand out bowler for the wolves with 4/18/3.

Sunday, Aug 22, saw 40 overs match between NL Tigers and Hurricanes. Tigers had a edgy start losing Maanik early. However, Ali scoring a century and earning another spot on the honors board (116) and Fahad (64) steadied the ship and helped Tigers post 285 for hurricanes to chase. Mahe Alam was the stand out bowler with 8/34/2. In reply only Wahid 71 stood on the crease and developed partnerships with Amin and Madhu. Indranil was the pick of the bowlers with 8/30/5 and earning his name on the honor’s board.

Last match was between Eagles and RC. Eagles batted first and put up a score of 153/6 in the 20 overs.With Najaf (25) and Himreet (39*) being the leading scorers. Jashan and Maulik took 2 wickets each. In response. RC lost Ranvir early but Maulik (31) and Amit (23) built a useful partnership. Waqas supported in the middle order scoring a useful 30. However, Eagles came back strong and toppled the tail enders cheaply to bowl RC out for 129.Mudhushanka was the pick of the bolwers with 4/28/3. Baljeet, Najaf and Hassan taking 2 wickets each.
