PEI wickets tumble

The provincial team got off to a great start, beating the host PEI squad by 66 runs, thanks to a strong all round effort. The team batted first and put up an intimidating total of 179/9 from their 20 overs, led by captain Rakesh Negi and Saad Jahangir who both made 23. In reply PEI were bowled out for 113 in the 16th over. Someshwar Singh scored 31 for Prince Edward Island.
NL play New Brunswick, who beat PEI in the opening match tomorrow.
