Planning for Winter League is well under way, and we believe we’ve been able to secure space at the PowerPlex, Crosbie Road for an eight team competition. The gym area is much larger than the MUN gym and makes for a much better game. It also allows us to play 7/ side instead of six. The downside is that it costs us close to $90/ hour to rent, so league entry fees will have to be significantly higher (but still less than $10/ player/game). We are awaiting confirmation of bookings but it looks as though we’ll have games on the following dates:-
Jan 21 – 12-2 pm
Jan 22 – 10- 1 pm
Jan 28 – 12- 4 pm
Jan 29 10-1 pm
Feb 4 – 2-5pm
Feb 5 – 11-12 pm
Feb 26 – 9-1 pm

We hope to finalise entry fees and schedules in the next few days, and will be looking at a deadline of January 15 to submit. We are limiting the tournament to eight teams so the first eight teams to confirm entry by emailing cricketnewfoundland@gmail.com will be those that play.
