Cricket NL launched a women’s programme in St. John’s, NL in June 2019. This led to the establishment of the Salty Sirens in November 2019, with 13 founding members. In 2020 the Salty Sirens were rebranded as the Salt Water Sirens with a fresh new name and logo!
The Salt Water Sirens’ mission is to have fun and develop the cricket skills of all players in a supportive environment, with long-term goals of establishing a women’s league in Newfoundland and competing inter-provincially.
We hope to grow in numbers! If you live on the Rock and have an interest in playing cricket, we invite you to join us! Ages 14+ and all levels of skill welcome.
