This autumn Cricket NL has held a very successful 6-week introduction to cricket programme in conjunction with St. Matthew’s after school programme. 30 grade 4 to 7 kids took part in weekly two-hour indoor sessions. Coaching was provided by Amit Sundly, Dave Liverman and Nick Baxter, with assistance from Deep Patel and Rahul Vashishta. Nearly all the kids were new to cricket, but were very quick in picking up the basics of the game. Thanks to Greg Jackman of St. Matthews for facilitating this, and we look forward to returning in the future.
