We are delighted to announce that with the revised guidelines for sport at Alert Level 2, we are able to start playing matches at RCAF, although it is important to note that all conditions of the provincial guidelines must be met, as well as our own playing conditions. Remember that social distancing must be maintained on and off the field.

We hope to start the outdoor season on July 1st with two matches to mark our 10th anniversary. The first match, at 11 am, will be between the Shamrocks (captained by Hassan Ghafoor) and the Terra Novas (captained by Manvir Mann). The playing elevens are designed to be representative, drawing from all clubs, the women’s programme, and junior programme.

The second match (2:30 pm)  will be between the President’s XI (captained by Rahul Vashishtha) and the Coach’s XI (captained by Nick Baxter), and will be played between players who mostly have represented the province at inter-provincial tournaments.

These games will be an opportunity to trial our modified playing conditions in match-play prior to the start of competitive cricket on July 4. Spectators are welcome but are requested to fully respect social distancing measures.
