The Summer League will start once the province moves to Alert Level 2, and we have permission to resume match play. Our tentative plans are based on the league starting on the weekend of 4 July, but these are subject to revision. We hope to open the season with a 10th anniversary celebration with friendly matches on July 1st.

We are delighted to welcome the Newfoundland Hurricanes and NL Stars as new clubs this year, meaning we will have a 7 team T20 outdoor league. The proposed structure will see teams each play each other in the first round of games, after which the league will split into two divisions, with the top four teams in the A Division, and the lower three teams contesting the B championship.

We also hope to have a four team 40-over tournament, with three teams already committed (Royal Challengers, Tigers and Avengers).

We hope to have updates on our women’s and junior programme soon.

Some teams are still looking for players, so check our clubs pages for contact information if you are interested in playing

It will be a busy short summer season, but we hope that the weather co-operates, and the province’s efforts in combating the COVID-19 virus continue.
