The Eagles and Royal Challengers had a long day at the field, as heavy showers delayed play several times in the 40 overs match. Eagles batted first, and were bowled out for 140 in 33 overs, Safwan Khan top-scoring with 33, and Ajaypal Singh Gill making 20. The total was boosted by 44 extras. Param Singh took 4/24, and Tendai, Ranvir and Shashi Parbhane two wickets each.
Amit Neghandi and Ranvir Rana put on 54 for the first wicket but then wickets fell regularly. Royal Challengers were 113/8 in the 21st over, but Shubbam Sharma and Hitesh Arora inched RC to within 12 runs. Two run outs extinguished their hopes and saw the Eagles to victory. Baljeet Zaildar took 3/32 for the Eagles.
