The Cricket NL Board has approved the appointment of Nick Baxter as Provincial coach for 2019. Nick is a level 2 ECB cricket coach with nearly 20 years experience of coaching as well as a degree in Sports and Exercise Science. Nick represented the province twice at the Eastern/ Atlantic T20 championships in 2012 and 2013.
The board also appointed Dave Liverman, Gurman Khurana and Shaifan Ahmed as selectors for this year. Work will start immediately on developing a plan for training and selection, leading to the Eastern Canadian T20 championships in late July.
