The current weather has made everyone inactive, but the cricketer’s passion can never be put off especially during the cricket World Cup year. We are glad to announce that the association has decided to arrange an indoor cricket league during the winter months.

The matches will be held using a tapeball in Memorial University gymnasium located in PE 2000 for six players per team with overs limited to eight an innings. To help organize the tournament, we cordially ask for a fee of $10 per player. The dates are yet to be fixed, but the tentative schedule will be set for the third or fourth week of January, 2011. Please, submit your team’s name along with the name of all the players to cricketnewfoundland@gmail.com by January 5th, 2011, to ease our arrangements.
