Cricket Canada has recently put a women’s cricket committee in place, and Jazz Tucker, our women’s coordinator was asked to be on this committee. One of the committee’s first actions was to put in place a National Fitness programme, in preparation for selecting a national squad to represent Canada in the America’s Women’s T20 World Cup qualifier, to take place next year. We congratulate four of the Salt Water Sirens on being invited to join the programme – Terri-Lynn Barnes, Sarah Gash, Diya Trivedi and Jazz Tucker.
